Was all great.

Had a fun stay with the fam at this place. The breakfast was surprisingly good with decent options, and they had cookies in the lobby. Just feels welcoming you know?
Wasn't exactly a bargain, but I mean, not outrageous.

great city strolls and nearby parks await you here
Having stayed for three nights, I loved being just a few steps from the beautiful Eldredge Public Library and the welcoming Wild Goose Tavern, making it easy to immerse myself in local culture and enjoy some great food after exploring the charming streets and parks in the area.

This place had a lovely ambiance and was in a great location, making it easy to explore the nearby shops and attractions. The staff notably went above and beyond to ensure breakfast was well-stocked and customers were happy. However, I found the breakfast offerings to be a bit lacking, and the room was smaller than I expected for the price. Overall, it was a pleasant stay but there’s room for improvement.

The location is stellar, with easy walks to various shops and restaurants, putting the heart of activity right at your fingertips. The room felt spacious with a cozy sitting area, and the bathroom provided decent amenities, adding a touch of homey comfort to the stay.
The experience could be a mixed bag. rooms had a dated feel and not much character, which might leave some guests wanting more flair for their costs. The pool area had a noisy ambiance due to air conditioning units venting nearby, detracting from any potential relaxation. Breakfast didn't hit the mark for many, lacking variety and freshness that might be expected at this price point. A few amenities in common areas seemed to show their age, leaving an impression of neglect rather than charm.

Chatham Wayside Inn impressed me with its charming location right in the heart of town. The room offered a cozy atmosphere with tasteful furnishings, making it comfortable for my stay. Housekeeping did a great job keeping everything tidy. I enjoyed breakfast, but it fell short of expectations for a hotel at this price. The options were limited and not the freshest, especially the fruit. It would be nice to see more attention to breakfast quality and variety. WiFi connection was frustrating too. Accessing it involved too many steps, and I spent much time trying to log in. It's a hassle for a hotel. Despite these issues, the staff were friendly and willing to help. The dining experience at the Tavern was decent, but prices felt steep. Hints of inconsistency in service lingered, which could use attention. A few minor tweaks could make a big difference.

We stayed for 2 nights and the whole vibe was just nice, especially with the holiday decorations everywhere. The bar had this fireplace and the cocktails? Yeah, those were just magical at the end of the day.
It wasn’t exactly budget-friendly, but still acceptable for the experience we had.

Ideal location and friendly staff
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, as the location was perfect for exploring local shops and dining options. The staff, especially Amanda at the front desk, were incredibly kind and attentive, making our experience even more pleasant. The room was spacious and very comfortable, contributing to a wonderful vacation atmosphere. However, the breakfast selection could use a bit more variety to match the hotel's price point.

missingWrote a review on Sept 22cozy fireplacecharming patioconvenient accessloud street
Spacious rooms feature cozy fireplaces that add warmth during chilly evenings, and the charming patio offers a pleasant spot for morning coffee or evening relaxation. The location provides convenient access to local shops and attractions, making it easy to explore the area.
While the rooms are comfortable, they come with a hefty price tag of over $500 a night in autumn, which feels steep considering the overall experience. The bathroom in our room was small, common in older hotels, and an inadequate number of electrical outlets left us scrambling to charge devices. Breakfast options were underwhelming and lacked healthier choices. I would have appreciated some yogurt or cooked oatmeal. Additionally, noise from the adjacent patio and main street can be disruptive at night for light sleepers. Lastly, we encountered issues with the air conditioning unit, which rattled loudly, making it impossible to sleep with it on.

Beautifully decorated for the holidays, the hotel really captures the charm of the season. Rooms were comfortable and clean, featuring lovely furniture and pleasant views. The centrally located parking makes it easy to explore the area, and the food, especially the hand-made pasta, was exceptional. However, the service at times felt lacking, and the noise from the nearby street could be distracting.

missingWrote a review on Jul 21cozy vibeprivate patioclean bathroomsmall seatingbland decor
The room was comfortable and clean, but it had just one small wicker chair, which made sitting a bit cramped since we had to use the bed for extra space. The bathroom felt a little bland for the price, not what I expected. The outdoor patio was a nice touch, overlooking the park with two Adirondack chairs to relax in. It would be great if they added a larger chair or a desk for better seating options. Other than that, the cozy vibe was nice, but a few improvements could make it better.
